5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. It takes a team to make big things happen. One person can’t do it all.
  2. Great leadership is not only seeing it but feeling it as well. Lead by example!
  3. Schedule out your days and hold yourself accountable to your schedule. Tell your time where to go, don’t let your time tell you where to go!
  4. It’s important to have a dream and a vision. Without one, you are walking through life with a blindfold on.
  5. It takes 2 to tango, literally. This goes for business, relationships, and overall life. Don’t get stuck in thinking you have to do everything, everyone needs help in order to grow.

3 Bold and Kick-Ass Quotes:

  1. “I’ve always been intrigued by business and who is making things work.” – Ramone Harper
  2. “No one can achieve any level of success alone.” – Ramone Harper
  3. “My vision is to help my client’s vision become a reality.” – Ramone Harper

5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. Who you are not is more important than who you are. Recognize who you are, what your good at, and how you can bring value to an organization.
  2. The basics of selling any product or service are finding the problem, not always just the solution. While solutions are important, sometimes it’s more important to evaluate the entire problem before finding that solution.
  3. You can’t do everything. Utilize your genius and bring in others who have the skills you need to keep growing. Collaboration is key!
  4. Innovation is the core of any businesses or organizations success. Make sure you are at the forefront of that innovation and implement core principles to guide you through the process.
  5. Every failure comes with a spreadsheet or document that looks amazing. Failures are learning lessons and part of your growth process. Embrace the failure!

  1. “Be true to yourself while recognizing you have to create value.” – Steve Shapiro
  2. “The role of a leader is to create other leaders.” – Steve Shapiro

Igniting Positive Change with Mary Shores – Ep#148

Overview: In this episode, Mary Shores comes on the Think Bold, Be Bold Show! Mary spends her career as an author, speaker, and entrepreneur, generating positive and pragmatic solutions for people who are freaking out. Mary blends personal experience with her extensive knowledge of neuroscience and human behavior to guide businesses and individuals to defeat the freakout and create their ideal life.  Mary has had a rollercoaster life, from tragically losing her first child to building a purpose-filled 8-figure business and writing the Hay House bestseller Conscious Communications. Throughout these life experiences, she discovered the tools to succeed in business and in life. Dedicated to making an impact in the world, Mary is on a mission to create change in a tough industry and share transformative lessons that bridge the gap between science and spirituality. Tune in to hear Mary’s story and learn how to better communicate with yourself and others!

5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. Evaluate your top 10 common scenarios in your business. Then, brainstorm positive ways you can handle these situations.
  2. Every business should have a “DO NOT SAY” list. For example, instead of using “unfortunately” change it to “fortunately” and flip the script.
  3. Every experience we encounter shapes us into who we are. Be grateful for the adversities you have overcome and recognize how strong you are to have gone through them. Remember, sometimes the best inspiration comes from desperation.
  4. Don’t let your limiting beliefs control you. Whatever you think you can’t do, there’s a reason behind why you think that. Dig deep and find the answer to why you think you “can’t” do something, then figure out how to do it!
  5. Know your value and don’t give too much away for free, or there will be nothing left to give. Many people encourage you to “give value,” but you have to know your personal value also comes with a price.

3 Bold and Kick-Ass Quotes:

  1. “Every action you take and every choice you make is either creating a connection or driving a disconnection.” – Mary Shores
  2. “I started this business because I felt like it was the only way for me to control my own destiny.” – Mary Shores
  3. “Purpose is whatever your natural skills, gifts, and talents are.” – Mary Shores
