5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. The small things we stress about throughout the day are so minor compared to real-world issues. When you have the opportunity to see the world through another lens, it allows you to have perspective on what really matters. To live a more stress-free and simple life, let the small things go.
  2. Always look at the big picture. It’s easy to focus on the race, but it’s important to keep the endgame in mind. Focusing on the big picture will lead you to success.
  3. In business and life, people may not remember your words, but they will remember the feeling you left with them. When it comes to your brand, ensure your customers feel the emotions you are portraying and have a pleasant experience.
  4. Give something back to society. It doesn’t have to be a monetary value either, give your time, energy, or anything you can sacrifice for the greater good.
  5. Take the time to reflect on your life. Ask yourself, what is it for, what is your life really about? Find what impact you want to leave this world with, and make it happen!

3 Bold and Kick-Ass Quotes:

  1. “We need bridging techniques to bring people together.“ – Jared Angaza
  2. “I help people unearth the essence of who they are.“ – Jared Angaza
  3. “We all have influence, no matter what. We are influencing people everywhere we go, good or bad. What are you going to do with that?“ – Jared Angaza

  3. The more you give, the more you will get. Try giving more of yourself to others and see how the universe will reward you.
  4. Success isn’t all about money. It’s about creating a life you desire while having the ability to give back to those in need.
  5. If you want help, you just have to ask. The collaboration that’s possible in your network would surprise you if you just simply…ASK!

Jeff is a successful entrepreneur, proven CEO, worldwide motivational speaker, published author, Hollywood film producer, and a producer of a Grammy-winning jazz album in 2015. He supports the White House, the US State Department, the United Nations, and foreign governments on economic growth initiatives and entrepreneurship. 5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. Stop spending time stuck in a job you hate. You have the option to design your own life, take advantage of that. Create the job you wish you had!
  2. Create something amazing in the world and you will never worry about getting paid. When you build things that make an impact and solve problems, money will follow excellence.
  3. Find the one thing you are good at and outsource the rest. Many people try to focus on too many trades or do it all themselves, resulting in burnout and lack of efficiency. Focus on your genius zone and bring in others to help you in the areas you lack.
  4. Technology will soon replace jobs no one really wants to do or should be doing. Humans should have jobs that make the world a better place, not to just make a living for themselves. Live should not be lived to just pay bills and die.
  5. The key to living the life you want is to become valuable to the people you want to be around. Study the industry you want to be in, solve a problem they don’t yet have the solution for, and show your value.

3 Bold and Kick-Ass Quotes:

  1. “The journey has never been about money, the journey has always been about freedom.” – Jeff Hoffman
  2. “Play your position and surround yourself with people smarter than you for every other position.” – Jeff Hoffman
  3. “Intelligence has always been equally distributed, opportunity never has been.” – Jeff Hoffman

Break Your Chains! with Blake B. Shelley – Ep #134

Break Your Chains! with Blake B. Shelley - Ep #134

Think Bold, Be Bold Guest: Blake B. Shelley

Overview: In this episode, author of “Breaking Chains” and inspirational speaker, Blake B. Shelley comes back on the Think Bold, Be Bold Show! As a person with a disability, Blake has had to overcome many obstacles and challenges over the course of his life. At the age of six months, Blake was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP), which was due to a lack of oxygen at birth. CP has made everyday tasks (ADLs) such as eating, walking, and typing extremely difficult. However, it has also taught him how to persevere while not being defined by a disability. It was ingrained in Blake by his parents and support system to never give up on his goals. The confidence Blake found through his faith, family, and friends enabled him to attend George Fox University in Newberg, OR, on a scholarship through the Act Six Leadership Initiative, and earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries. Since graduating from George Fox, Blake has devoted his time and resources to improving the quality of life of others, as well as educating the public about physical and emotional hurdles faced by young entrepreneurs. He has pursued this through promoting disability awareness in public schools, mentorship, disabilities advocacy, disabilities ministries, and educating the general public through speaking engagements. Using these experiences as a foundation, Blake is now bringing his message of breaking chains to those seeking success in their personal and professional lives. Tune in to hear Blake’s inspirational message and learn how you can overcome your own adversity!

5 Golden Nuggets Shared:

  1. Make sure you walk the talk. If you are preaching something, you have to be executing it. This will boost your credibility and help you live a better quality of life.
  2. Look at your life with a fresh perspective. Instead of focusing on the obstacles in your life, focus on how to get around them. Ask yourself, what can change to make you happier?
  3. Everyone can break chains in their own lives. No one can do this but you!
  4. Adversity is all around us. It’s different for everyone, but the tools to overcome it are the same.
  5. When things don’t go your way, look for a learning lesson or new growth opportunity.

3 Bold and Kick-Ass Quotes:

  1. “When I was writing my book I would set goals for myself.” – Blake B. Shelley
  2. “It’s my passion to get up on stage and inspire people to overcome their challenges.” – Blake B. Shelley
  3. “Take a look at where you’re at and where you want to be, then plan out your journey on how to get there.” – Blake B. Shelley
